On June 1, Zhejiang province witnessed a ceremony on the lawn of Xihu Tiandi celebrating Children's Day. Some 2000 Young Pioneers from 11 cities throughout the province gathered happily to celebrate this special festival, transforming Xihu Tiandi into a sea of happy young people. All around, kids were dressed in grand attire just like blooming flowers decorating the lawn. The main theme of this particular activity was "games", wherein games belonging to grandparents, ones played by parents during their childhood, or those created by children themselves were honored and enjoyed by everyone. The Vice-secretary of the Zhejiang provincial Party Committee, Qiao Chuanxiu, and Secretary of the provincial Communist Youth League, Zhao Yide, as well as a number of other leaders all joined in the games, creating an air of absolute joy.
